This group supports the worship of the assembly by providing an attractive church environment with plants, banners and seasonal decor according to the seasons of the Church year:  Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time.  Contact:  Alice Jo Hendrix  334.857.2204

These parishioners assist the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and bringing Holy Communion to the sick and homebound of the parish. Some ministers bring the Eucharist to area nursing homes and hospitals. EMHCs must be approved by the pastor.

We, as Christians, are all called to hospitality.  Every ministry is one of hospitality.  Greeters, in particular, stand at the church entrance and welcome parishioners and guests as they enter the church building.  Greeters are needed at all weekend masses and special liturgical services.  Contact:  Len Pillittere   334.290.3501

Lectors are "proclaimers of the Word."  They proclaim the scriptures at weekend Masses, feast days, and at various special worship services throughout the year.  Training is provided.  Contact:  Kevin Manning  334.361.2236

The purpose of the Liturgy Committee is to nurture the faith of the community by providing meaningful opportunities for worshiping and praising God through liturgical and para-liturgical services. This committee coordinates all components of the Liturgy and ensures that the reception of the sacraments is available to all on a regular basis.
